I'm picking Orange County, but only because that's the option you don't want people to pick.

north Minneapolis has tons of hookers and "massage parlors". I doubt Orange County has many, being a suburban hell.

That Depends on what exactly North Minneapolis is like. If it's what I imagine BRTD says what it's like then I choose neither.

I'd rather live in north Minneapolis than HELL ON EARTH.

Any climate in which temperatures drop below 40 degrees on a regular basis is HELL ON EARTH for me.  People always talk about hell freezing over but for me, hell would be Antarctica.

Anyways, after moving to "the O.C." I would begin a campaign for secession from California and admittance as a new state.  It is, after all, the 5th largest county in the US and it is more populous than 20 of the current 50 states.  To offset the admittance of this Republican state Puerto Rico would be forced to join as a state whether they like it or not.  I'm tired of this half-in/half-out bull crap they're trying to pull.  Also, the Virgin Islands would become Puerto Rican counties.

Which Orange County are you talking about?  There's plenty to choose from.

The most well-known Orange County, close to where I'm from.

Hmmm . . . that's relative then, since Orange County, NY is very well known on the East Coast, and Orange County, VA is very well known . . . well . . . in Virginia.  Tongue

In the future BRTD, when you post one of your waste-of-space polls, please be specific in what you are asking.  It only takes two seconds.

And I don't recall any TV series on the East Coast Orange Counties. Tongue

HAHAHA . . . you don't watch American Chopper then.  Tongue  I don't know of any other TV shows about Orange County, but then again, I primarily only watch educational/political/Sci-Fi programming.

My dad was going through his files recently, and he found an old appraisal he did from the mid 1980's. He valued a house in North Minneapolis at -$500. That's right: the house was a liability, not an asset.

He hasn't done many Minneapolis appraisals recently, but he's pretty sure the situation in North Minneapolis hasn't improved much.

To get to the question at last, let me first say that I refuse to rent as opposed to own. Owning in North Minneapolis is a bad deal, while owning in Orange County is a good deal.

I'll take orange county, because I love getting a good return on investment.

Oh, it is a black neighborhood?

By the way, I didn't know your father is an appraiser.  I was seriously considering returning to the US to do that.  What does a typical appraisal cost, how long does it take, and how much does pop make in a year?
