In what way is the Democratic party fascist?

I don't consider the GOP, in its totality, nor the use of government to push for greater morality to be fascist, but the one, wee little issue that GOP does have is that the de-facto leader of the whole party is pushing for the overthrow of democracy so that he, a strong man, can have power. Sounds pretty fash to me.

Democrats are more statist, so I think it would have to be them by default, although neither party is remotely close to fascism; neither party is very interested in territorial expansion and both are open to people of many races and cultures. Both party leaders, Biden and Trump, have fairly tenuous holds and lose primaries in which they made explicit endorsements fairly frequently. Neither party is all that militaristic, though Republicans were in the fairly recent past and I expect Democrats to become more-so with time.
