I voted for all except Nixon, Bush II and Trump.  I based my votes on my perception of these president's reputations in the world as a whole.  I should point out that they may be viewed dramatically differently in certain parts of the world or individual countries.  For example, Bush II is highly regarded in at least much of Africa for the aid--particularly anti-AIDS measures--that he gave to that continent.  Conversely, Eisenhower is probably not highly regarded in Iran and Guatemala, where CIA-sponsored coups during his presidency did a great deal of harm.

So far, Trump has as many votes as FDR.  What does that say about the credibiity of this forum?

This board seems to have acquired a lot more right-wingers lately.

Pretty much every Cold War President did so . Even after the Cold War , presidents who were disliked by our traditional Allies such as George W Bush and Donald Trump , increased America’s reputation with other Nations such as many African nations with W and Middle Eastern nations with Trump

True, but it surprises me that none of those who voted for Trump here (so far at least) voted for Bush II.

Conservatives will change their ideology every five years to match whatever the right-wing media outrage industrial complex tells them to believe.

Watch, in about six weeks they'll all starting insisting they were never that pro-life.  Once the consequences liberals predicted actually come to pass.

I mean even Bush II improved our reputation with many nations outside Europe as well. Every President since FDR has done that so the question really comes if you are only counting Western Europe + Canada/Australia/New Zealand or not

I gave a more generous answer and said all but Nixon, Ford, Carter, Bush Jr and Trump. And all of these 5 but Bush Jr and Trump are a little more mixed - Watergate was a massive negative but Nixon did do some good, like normalize relations with China, end the draft, and lower the voting age; Ford did 'restore honesty and dignity to the White House' though ultimately he was kind of average-below-average/mediocre and 'no Soviet domination of eastern Europe' didn't help either; and Carter did do badly in Iran and muh 1970s stagflation, but the Camp David Accords were a major and important international achievement which, coupled with his work post-presidency, very nearly put him in the 'Good reputation camp'.

Though 'Good reputation' is very subjective and it obviously depends on which country you're asking and which person specifically in it. LBJ has a horrible reputation in Vietnam and Nixon has a bad rep in Canada. Kennedy might not be loved in Cuba. Carter is hated in Iran and the Bushes in Iraq and the Middle east generally (though even within it - while I'm sure a lot of Iraqis hate Dubya, a lot have to like him for nabbing Saddam Hussein).
