I stand by what I've said about the meaningfulness of these ratings, but here goes anyway:

Link

Average Approval Rating: 36% Approval; 62% Disapproval

Green = Approve
Red = Disapprove
Gray = Tied

I put it in all the approval maps I make.  In this case it isn't necessary, but oh well.

Hawai'i and New Hampshire apparently have given up on the pro-incumbent thing, especially NH.

The two states closest to the national average are Nevada and New Mexico, with 37-62 and 34-62 respectively.

Bush's best states are the Mormon triangle obviously, with North Dakota and Lousiana being his next best.  New York is now his worst with 24-74.  It was Rhode Island for a long time, but that's now third.

Of the states Bush carried in 2004, his worst is Missouri with 34-64.  Of those Kerry carried, Oregon is Bush's best with 38-61.

34% in Missouri.  Ouch.  That state went solidly for him.  I see the South still has a solid bloc of support for him.  Another reason I don't want my party even bothering with most of this region in 08 (minus Florida and Arkansas).  If 45% of your population still approves of the job this man is doing, I'm sorry, you are lost.

Virginia, Florida, georgia(increasing influence of the atlanta metropolis) and North Carolina are de-southernizing each decade so aim for those. Forget about trying to aim for the traditional southern heartland.

It has been for a while unless you're joking and I simply do not understand!

Bush's 67% disapproval in Washington is his highest yet. Hopefully it will top 70 eventually!

74% disapproval in New York. Sweet.
Even 58% of Texans are against Bush. Ouch.
