Joss Whedon is a fervent atheist and actually kind of a "New Atheist", which actually fits well with the unsavory aspects of his personality we now know about.

Excuse me?

E seems like the obvious answer to me. On Firefly, River Tam would argue  that the Bible is “broken”  because the Flood was impossible.
I actually found that episode a bit odd because Joss Whedon is a fervent atheist and actually kind of a "New Atheist", which actually fits well with the unsavory aspects of his personality we now know about. I suppose though it's possible he didn't write it. I also found it kind of interesting how Buffy and Angel had all the characters having "Brian Griffin Syndrome", despite the known existence of demons, magic, alternate dimensions, supernatural godlike beings, an afterlife, etc. almost none of the characters seem to actually definitely believe in God. IIRC the only recurring character on either show who was shown to be a Christian was that female LAPD detective on Angel.

Anyway I voted for B.
Riley had beliefs and Willow obviously did.

New Atheists are extremely unpleasant people. How many people don't think Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris are douchebags?

Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris seem like they would be genial types if you talk with them in a private space. Though you are labeling a fervent atheist with being a "New Atheist" and where does the line draw between the two when used in a 21th century context? Some of the greatest minds as Nietzsche and Thomas Paine would get the same Theist treatment if they were standing today. Making a separation for "New Atheist" makes no sense because the arguments for the movement have been within many atheist thinkers for millions of years, going back to the Enlightenment era.

Come on.

You said he was 'a fervent atheist and actually kind of a "New Atheist", which actually fits well with the unsavory aspects of his personality we now know about.'

You're linking potentially serious allegations casually to his atheism (there is nothing to suggest he considered himself or was considered a New Athiest) and your strawman of atheism.

Wind your neck in. Grow up. You're pushing 40.

His rhetoric is very reminiscent of Dawkins/Harris. And that's just some public statements of his, Charisma Carpenter said that he mocked and insulted her for being a Christian amongst many things in her list of allegations, so it's even related actually.

I find it fascinating, because Position C is not uncommon on the internet. Not terribly prevalent either, but I would have expected someone to vote that by now.

Where would you find someone who votes for Position C anyway?

I've seen a fair number of deists on Discord. Twitter too to a lesser extent.

Supernatural events do exist, from a psychological and neuroscientific perspective many of the "supernatural" events witnessed by many people and described in a similar way are impossible to attribute to some kind of "collective psychosis", that does not mean that everything is related to religion.

Position E is the only logical choice.
Actually the mental gymnastics to justify skepticism of all supernatural phenomena make that position the more illogical one.

How exactly is skepticism of all supernatural events "mental gymnastics"?
