Since I adopted this seat, I may as well start the topic.

Southwest Florida, namely Sarasota and most of Bradenton. 86% White, 4% Black, 8% Hispanic, 1% Asian.

Incumbent is Katherine Harris, who is currently on course to take a Keyes-sized beating in the Senate Race.

Seat went 55-45 for the GOP last time.

Now way Katherine Harris takes a Keyes-size beating.  She'll probably get somewhere in between 38%, looking at it most negatively and 42%, looking at it most positively.  35% and 45% on both ends, are probably her ceiling.

I don't thinks its inevitable that Crist will win; I think Davis could surprise a few people on election day.  I predict Nelson will beat Harris 59%-38%, his coattails could foreseeably carry Davis to victory.

I thought so too but the second most accurate pollster has Crist ahead by 8 pts and that is alot of room to make up. But don't forget Sarasota is voted for Jeb and Bush by clear margins in 2000, 02, 04. The Dems might pull it off but the Bush's have high favorabilities in SW FL. There is an internal that shows Jennings ahead but I think Buchanan is still the favorite.
