In reading the forums, it struck me that a lot of the threads talking about the narrative this cycle have been about GA.

This made me wonder - without GA, what do you think the election narrative would have been?

Here's my take:
1) Biden would have been under 300 votes in the electoral college and the narrative would have been that Trump won by more than Biden did
2) House Ds would have had 0 pick-ups (excluding the NC seats gained through court order)
3) Senate Ds would still be the minority party and instead of the narrative being that Dems gained the trifecta the narrative would have been that Rs were favored to hold the senate for the for-seeable future, given Dems would have had to gain 2 seats in 2022 and face an unfavorable map in 2024.

Yes, definately. GA was the one swing state that came all the way through for Democrats on every level and was a place where Democrats matched if not outperformed expectations.

I was crushed that the democrats didn't pick up NC and ME.

Picking up CO and AZ but losing AL was a net gain of 1 for the democrats. It was pathetic.

Picking up the two Georgia seats was great.

I've heard someone on here post in another thread that its arguably better that we kept Susan Collins and knocked out the two obstructionist further right wing republicans of Georgia. I can definitely agree with that.

Of the 4 pickups, 2 are going to be up in 2022 (Kelly and Warnock). That's not great, but hopefully the democrats can retain those two in addition to NV and NH in 2022.
