I used to hate/deny it (FL ruined my prediction map again like in 2018 -- I’ll never trust another poll out of this state again), but well done, Atlas.

Has anyone checked in on ProgressivePessimist yet? Tongue

DeSantis, Rick Scott and Gov Kemp will all be reelected in 2022/2024

Gone are FL/TX/MT as swing states Tester and Manchin will be Doug Jones of 2020

Beto has egg on his face, he told us landslide Biden was gonna flip the TX state House in time for redistricting. Guns matter to these voters than ACA

Democrats should stay as far away from the money sinks of Florida, Iowa, Ohio and Texas going forward.

I think calling the state gone is premature, but Democrats need to think long and hard about what happened. Florida is winnable if you're not winning Miami-Dade by 21 points fewer than you should be.

I don’t know about Texas, it still seems to be moving left unlike the other 3 you mentioned. It’s clearly not in the same category as Florida, Ohio, and Iowa.

Dems flipped a few seats in Florida in 2018.  It's not a goner state.

They just need a more competent state party.  It's a big, diverse state with absolute cutthroat politics.  Clearly the Debbie Wasserman-Schultzes of the world aren't up to the task.

It looks accurate TBH. Florida will probably continue to have a slight R lean until 2030 at least.

Let's get this out of the way: Democrats were incredibly lucky to win FL-26 & FL-27 in 2018. Donna Shalala & Debbie Muscarsel-Powell were bad fits for their Districts and now you have two Republican Hispanics occupying them in Maria Elvira-Salazar and Carlos Gimenez.

And also the matter of fact is FL-26 was held by Illena Ross-Lehtinen for almost a Decade. D's only flipped the Seat in 2018 because she retired.
