Richard f**king Nixon was able to sit through the entirety of the Frost interviews, yet this guy can't even handle a reporter not entertaining his incoherent rambling about the size of his rallies.

Nixon was out of money and got for these interviews $ 600.000 plus a profit share.

And Trump is 10 points down in the polls & facing potential indictments in as little as 3 months if he loses (as opposed to more than 4 years - not to mention statutes of limitations expiring - if he wins). There's definitely a significant amount of incentive for Trump to actually try & perform well with the media, he's just too unhinged to realize it.

So tired of this crap. 12 more days.

F**ck 12 days. That really caught me off guard

You wonder what lame duck Trump will look like. I imagine he'll try to take the country down with him before he leaves office, if he does leave willingly...

There's a nonzero chance he will end up like the former President of Ukraine (Victor Yanukovych) who sort of disappeared one day and ended up in Russia.

Anonymous Trump aides are saying that Trump himself didn't say anything especially damning but rather he got flustered by the tough questions and melted down. Even if that's true, that doesn't bode well for him given there's a debate coming up. He can't afford to misbehave like last time.

Another historically bad debate preformance on Thursday, a televised meltdown on Sunday.

Something tells me the race will not tighten much by this time next week
Is the something you reference actually your bias on full display?

By any reasonable, objective analysis, Trump was a dumpster fire during the debate, worse during the town hall, and at least by reports though I haven't seen it yet, at least similarly s*** the bed during his 60 Minutes interview.

I don't think it's monstero's bias on display here.

I watched it, it's just your typical embarrassment for Trump.

For anyone who's not infected with Fox Brain, the entire interview is pure cringe as he refuses to answer any direct questions, lies constantly, whines constantly about the unfair press, launches attacks at Joe Biden and then insists (falsely) that they've all been verified, and clearly has no plans and nothing to offer beyond talking points.

Unfortunately, if you're infected with Fox Brain, what you saw was a president treated so unfairly! by being asked basic questions about his policies and then follow-up questions when he dodges or pivots.

I mean, the exchange on health care really says it all.  Trump insists he'll protect pre-existing conditions.

Stahl just keeps asking him "how" and he see-saws back and forth between "we're going to have a plan" and "we've already put out a plan but the fake news press doesn't want to cover it."

Then she says his Obamacare lawsuit will get rid of protections for pre-existing conditions, and he starts off saying "no it won't" and then shifts to "I hope it does so that we can replace it with our better plan."

WHAT PLAN?

"You know, the press is so fake, so mean to me, all you do is attack me and you never ask Joe Biden these tough questions, like you never ask him about HUNTER BIDEN and the E-MAILS"

It's so nice of him to give the Biden camp access to this and see where he struggled the most, so they can build coordinated attacks IN ADVANCE of tonight's debate, rather than just, say, waiting until it aired on TV on Sunday.

One thing Trump does that I've noticed my Republican friends+family love to do is just flatly assert something that isn't true, but phrased in such a way that I can't prove it untrue without having the actual video evidence in front of me.  So he asserts that they are giving him a really tough interview while they gave Biden an easy interview, and that's proof that she's biased.  Stahl could say "we didn't give Biden an easy interview" -- which is true! -- but he alleges that 60 Minutes lobbed "softball after softball" at Biden, and Stahl can't prove him wrong without having the video in front of her.  After all, she probably hasn't memorized the entire Biden 60 Minutes interview in order to prepare for one of Trump's lies.  So he gets away with it.

Trump could've sat on this another day or 2 and it may not have gotten as many eyeballs. Now, the big talking point Biden will hammer throughout the debate will be Trumps wish that the Supreme Court guts the ACA...

...and within a week of the Senate's likely confirmation of Barrett!

I'd say this will make a perfect ad for your Harrisons/Hegars/Ossoffs/Greenfields/Bullocks, but that'd just be my bias on full display

It's unfortunate the networks aren't allowed to show the clips. (They can talk about it though.)

This man makes Jeremy Clarkson look mature.

Honestly though.
Why on Earth would anyone want this Immature, Narsassitc Clown running our nation?
One just shakes their head, thinking this has to be one big awful dream.
Horrible. Worst president ever. No doubt about it.

The dumbest part is that TRUMP released this video today on his Facebook. The release was not some NYT or CNN leak timed to attack Trump, it is TRUMP'S OWN DOING. Is he seriously so deluded that he thinks this gives him a positive boost for the debate? He's really drinking his own Kool-Aid or that Regeneron has messed up his mind.

Biden had better be watching and studying this video to figure out how to bash Trump over the head with it tonight.

What Trump doesn't seem to realize is that he won in 2016 in spite of his constant whining, not because of it. Crying about unfair questions and 'nasty media' just makes him look pathetic.

This clown is such a mess. I watched the interview. He's making stuff up at a record pace. I think he doesn't even realize he's lying all the time. He lives in an alternate universe and there's nothing that can change this. He is completely over his head.

Not going to happen. It's a lose-lose for him.

The full interview isn't going to make him look good. (If it would, he wouldn't be so upset.) If he releases the whole thing, he's making himself look bad.  But it's not like 60 Minutes doesn't have their own copy of the interview. So if he releases an edited version that makes himself look good, they just have to release their own video and now he looks like an idiot twice-over: once for the interview, and again for lying about it and failing.

Wow, was I wrong. At least about him not releasing it. It certainly does not make him look good - he comes across worse than he did at the debate last night, lying constantly and pretty clearly inhabiting an alternate reality that has only tenuous contact with our own.  There are a number of excellent ads for Biden or Project Lincoln in here. The conclusion I come to is that even after four years, I can't model the stupidity and delusion of Donald Trump or his cult.

All the coverage right now is on the debate. I wonder if he released it yesterday so it will be old news when 60 Minutes airs.
