And the Trump campaign did that for millions of whites as well.   Does anyone think Democrats don't use similar data mining programs to target messages in hopes of depressing turnout among those they consider out of reach for themselves?

Evidence please?

Gotta admit, shua. Among my various expected responses from conservatives, I did not begin to forecast "Democrats do voter suppression too!1!!" That is truly ( chef's kiss).

We know they use the same technology to microtarget which messages they send out to which people.  We know they have no scruples about putting out ads that focus on the other candidate's negatives rather than their own candidate's positives.  I don't have proof but it's not a big leap to imagine they put these two things together.

So, no evidence other than the lamest comparison ever in attempting to draw a direct connection between negative advertising to racist voter suppression, and otherwise pulling hypotheses out of your ass. Got it.

Negative advertising is exactly what Trump was doing here, just geared toward people they didn't expect to vote for him anyway.

No. That's not even remotely...

Oh good God forget it. Once again you cross the line from habitual need your contrarian outright delusional. Just keep telling yourself that it's totally normal and acceptable to your party has a fundamental election strategy of "stop ni##ers voting", and that's perfectly upright and not the least bit disgraceful. Roll Eyes

I think it's disgraceful in the first place that corporations are harvesting data about us and selling it to campaigns of both parties.  The people doing this don't care what race you are except to the extent it contributes to the prediction of how you will vote and how to persuade you to change your voting behavior.

Why don't you tell me specifically what you think the Trump campaign did to dissuade people from voting, if you think I'm in error about the facts here ?
