I think they were both honest, although he probably exaggerates some of his positions for effect. It's a natural human tendency to try to be ridiculous to get attention; lots of people do that.

Option 5.  It's exceeding clear at this point that he exaggerates many if not most of his positions to make people angry and draw attention to himself.  But that's cool, I like attention too.  I'm just not as skilled at the craft as is opebo.
