do you guys who voted "yes" not care that it basically amounts to letting the people who dislike you win? or at the very least allowing them to live happier lives.

I think it's worth existing for the sole purpose of bothering the people who dislike me.

There was definitely a point in my life I would have voted yes, and I honestly doubt I would have cared if “the enemies” won. I assume at least some of the people who voted yes currently feel the same way.

Don’t get me wrong, I honestly think it’s great you have something to keep yourself going (especially since it’s obviously effective), but I don't think knowing that fact alone would help everyone here.

As a matter of fact, I don't. I want to allow people to live happier lives, regardless of what they think of me, even if it means they "win".
