Labor had a CoD majority before WB was appointed, and also held the Governorship, before incumbent MB retired. Therefore, they should have gotten to pick the Governor that they wanted, instead WB decided to back Muaddib. If Muaddib were to win, it would be the second time in this year that the right has denied the will of Southern votes and usurped the Governorship. How would we be able to consider a Muaddib win as a legitimate reflection of the wishes of Southern voters?
Labor lost the house election but it doesn't seem to matter to you.
I mean, we have the House again so
It doesn't matter to you, admit it

Devout Centrist doesn't know how to think for himself.  He only knows how to shill for the Labor Party and post what they want him to post in Atlasia.

Are you gonna condemn TMTH and WB for doing the same thing? Or do moderates only criticize left-wing pols for the things that both sides do?

Thank you razze. I am very disappointed in tmth and weatherboy's actions, and frustrated that-despite the fact that Labor has won every single gubernatorial election in the South since July 2019-the right wingers are about to rig their way into the governorship again. I also at this stage want to take the opportunity to agree with thumb's post in the thread, I have a very positive relationship with him. He has done great work helping our Covid response and has consistently been an impressive public servant.

How many times does it need to be explained to you on discord and on the forum for you to understand why you are wrong?

At this point, you are just being blatantly dishonest, and I'm glad you are posting here to prove I've always been right about the kind of person you are.

What untrue statements have I made? The votes are there, very clear for everyone to see.

Your entire statement was completely false and you know it. You are just mad that you couldn't bully weatherboy into voting the way you want him to.

Then again this is to be expected from someone who posts stuff like this:

wait, Pericles said this two days before casting a deciding vote to make WB president?

lol

There's a world of difference between the way Muaddib became governor and how Griffin was elevated to the House. Muaddib was chosen as governor by the elected delegates of the South in an entirely constitutional and democratic procedure. Griffin was handpicked by a fellow traveler after his minions launched a hostile takeover of the already-dissolved Green Party. The attempt by Labor to turn Muaddib's selection for the governorship into a false equivalence to Griffin's illegal seizure of power is a wonder of intellectual dishonesty. This is not about ideology, it is about what is an acceptable mode of gaining power. My personal political views are astronomically closer to Griffin's than Muaddib's, but I am not so blinded by politics that I cannot see the difference between right and wrong. It is a sad reflection on the times, on the customs, that Labor not only committed this criminal act, but reacted with such apparent glee that would make Mitch McConnell blush at their ability to get away unscathed. They're laughing it off, memeing it away, making a mockery of Atlasian democracy. And truly, they have every right to. No one, in this farce of a republic, has taken any effective action to stop them. Instead we have allowed a small politburo of schemers, cliquists, and cabalists to seize power away from the people. It's time the people strike back, before it is too late.

As long as the left is the largest base on the site and they hold a monopoly on said base, it is hard for the people to stop them without being deemed traitors to the cause.

In order for the Liberals and DA to win, we need Federalist support and the Feds need DA support and I forgot that it was in October, I assumed that it was in the midterms.

Unlike 80% of this site probably at this point, I am a registered Republican IRL and have been for ten years now.

I just have severe issues with the hypocrisy and near criminality of the NC GOP, the inconsistency of what passes itself off as the Conservative Movement IRL and of course serious concerns about the way Trump has operated, behaved and conducted things since being elected.
