I enjoyed going to a new summer camp and the release of the Nintendo DS and I like Green Day’s album “American Idiot”, but Bush’s re-election was bad.

I was 1, so my opinion of it comes entirely from reading history, but it seemed okay, on balance, I guess.

I was 12, and I can't say I remember it well enough to have an opinion about it. In hindsight, Bush getting re-elected sucked. I remember the election but I was always pretty sure that Bush would win, so I wasn't all that invested in it and I was only mildly following politics at the time anyway, mostly because my grandma was a huge Bush supporter at the time (in spite of being a lifelong Democrat before 2000).

I was 1, so my opinion of it comes entirely from reading history, but it seemed okay, on balance, I guess.

I had no idea you were so young! As if I needed to feel any more ancient...

Last time Michigan won the Big Ten, Bush was reelected and the GOP continued to hold all 3 branches of government, the tigers were bad, the Lions were bad, boring world series (4-0 Red Soxs over Cards) but the 2004 ALCS was legendary with the Red Sox v. Yankees and the Red Soxs coming back from a 3-1 deficit. Neutral year.

Not a big fan of it looking back on it, on both a personal and a societal level. The only parts I remember actually still like about it were a long trip I took with my dad to Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado, and Utah that summer and some good movies and music that came out that year.
