Ideally, decreased, as all taxes should. Although taxes on the middle class and poor should be largely decreased before rich taxes are significantly lowered.

About the same, though we should exert constant pressure to lower taxes for everybody to counteract the constant calls for additional spending.

I actually agree more with this.  I'd favor a higher tax rate, for example, if there was a flater rate and rather stubstantial personal deduction and lower capital gains rate.  I'd really like to reward people that invest in the economy if possible.

The tax rate should stay the same.  What should be done is eliminate most of the deductions designed to allow the more rich of the society to reduce their tax burden.
