It looks like former Congressman Jason Chaffetz is the frontrunner, but it's worth noting that after four years of Evan McMullin doing nothing, he may be eager to run for office again, if nothing else to keep his name out there. Josh Romney (Mitt's son) could also toss up the primary if he enters. Utah's Lt. Governor Spencer Cox is polling in second and could easily make up the gap, especially if Utah's establishment GOP comes out for him. Congressman Rob Bishop is worth mentioning, too. What possible Democrats might enter? Could McMuffin run as a Republican, or even more interestingly, an Independent? All I know is I wanted to be the one to create the Utah megathread so I could make that bad pun name.

Nice title.

I could see McMullin running as anything from an independent, to Republican, to United Utah.

Assuming Mia Love loses, would she consider a run?

How much influence\money does the Huntsman family still have? Because they definitely don't like Chaffetz, so they could support his challenger.

Spencer Cox has remained one of my all-time favorite Republicans since that passionate and loving speech he gave 2 a vigil honoring victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting.

Cox should certainly run - when the GOP is desperate to distance themselves from Trump in 2024 he could be their only hope.

I think Josh or Tagg are running for dad’s senate seat in six or twelve years.
