I use one now, and I'll be getting my master's degree at the end of the school year.

On the other hand when I was in high school (I graduated in 2012) we had to use Casio calculators, as they were the ones the teachers at my school used and thus only knew how to teach with those.

They're by far the most commonly used, at least in my area.
Last year my class didn't allow graphing calculators and gave us Casio scientifics. They did just about everything my TI-84 does except for showing the graph though.

they still require specific ones, at least they did at my kid's High School, which is almost as funking insane as the fact that college book stores are still screwing over our kids going to college.
