Did Machiavelli betray the South like he did on the Forum or was he always pro-North?

You would have had to become a colony, most likely.

The real Machiavelli was dead before the civil war even started so assumedly we are talking about the poster, I doubt the real Machiavelli would have had today's knowledge of the civil war having died before it started Wink.

Note the SMall area of land occupied by the negro-haters. HatesRights would be holed up in Central FLorida crying like a little baby of the CONFEDERATE plutocracy. I would be leading UNION!!!!!!!!!!111# troops through the marshes recruting former slaves, who would march down to Jesus-loathing Flroida and kill him, along with other members of the UNiON hating planter aristocracy

This topic is stupid bullsh**t. Of course I, the Prince, would win. I hate you HATESRIGHT, and I would love to kill you with an ABRAHAM LINCOLN STATUETTE!

GOD LBESS THE UNIOn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!32

I share the same setiment.  By the way, Lincoln looks kinda ape-ish in his signature-don't you think? Smiley  Machiavelli would definitely have an advantage being the north, and might win, but it's not too likely in that States is quite a bit smarter and would have some ideas, rather than leading by emotion.

Machievelli would lead a series of extremely rash attacks deep into the south early into the war, and lead to a series of huge confederate victories.  The Abraham Lincoln fires Machievelli.  He wants to continue the war but the Congress narrowly votes to cut funding of the war, while not formally ending the war with the South or recognizing seccession.  Midterm elections in 1862 happen and the Democrats and moderate Republicans gain a large advantage over the radicals.  This new moderate coalitions promises several key amendments and reforms, including the promise to not ban slavery for at least the next 30 years, the payment of damages done to Southern property owners by the Union Army, plus the addition of Nevada and Colorado as slave states.  A large majority of Southern States accept and the CSA quickly dissolves.  Within a year every former Union state has returned to the Union.

wow, you must have thought a lot about this Preston.  I've never a clue how the war could end peaceably or with a moderate stance on slavery.
