The six are from his essay, but I added Emerson, who was not one of his six men.

His choices were interesting, so I think a discussion on him or his six choices might lead to a good discussion on which ones you like. The one thing they have in common is that they are all men, but I am sure I could have come up with at least seven representative women as well, so if you want to add any women that you think contributed to history that would be useful, also.

(For example, Anne Frank, Helen Keller, Mary Shelly, George Elliot, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Mary Baker Eddy, Ellen G. White, Ann Lee, and last but not least, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez)
