I think that sex is great and good for the mind and body, however I'm wondering what the hell is FF and HP? Sounds like something in a Final Fantasy game. I understand that i've been here for sometime but still i am a newbie.

No, it's an all-world problem.  Particularly as the human race continues breeding degenerates (of all stripes) and we encourage people to parent who really should not be parents.

But I'll stop there because I'd rather not derail the thread with my personal, unpopular cultural criticisms.

My fear of overpopulation clashes with my belief that life is sacred and that the right to it (I don't mean the abortion context only here) is sacred and necessary for a free society. The right to life as a necessity in the defense of individual liberty contrasts with the need to curb population growth. Quite a conundrum for me.

I hear this, but I've never heard why, which is a phenomenon that has failed to allay those concerns of mine that occasionally crop up.

the world is currently producing on the order of 2800 calories per person per day. we don't have too many people, we have a bad distribution of resources
