Now that we underestimated Hillary's popularity on the U.S. Virgin Islands, the old poll has become obsolete.

With 84.2% of the vote, that territory is now her best "state".
Will she be able to top that performance?

Oh wait ... there was someone who didn't underestimated her popularity...

Virgin Islands anyone?
Obama won them with almost 90%, and their citizens are 76% black.

Probably not, simply because VI was so high and DC is substantially less black.  But Hillary will kill there, even among whites.

Also re Puerto Rico, I assume HRC will win very handily, but Bernie's anti-austerity stand should mean something

Mississippi if we only count states, if we count all contests then the Virgin Islands. DC might be in the running for largest victory in a contest for Clinton, but only if Sanders drops out.

I think that Hillary's best performance in a primary state was South Carolina. She far exceeded everyone's expectations there, and she completely halted Bernie Sanders' momentum coming off of his wide victory in New Hampshire.

What's with all the DC votes? Sure, DC isn't good for Bernie, but it's not VI bad.

I think she capped in the V.I. today, and it was quite impressive.

Nope, it used to be Mississippi with 82%.

Missing the point.  In the same way, Michigan was Bernie's best performance even though he got the best margin in Vermont.

Ah, he meant the most important victory. That was probably South Carolina. Her best performance, however, had been (before yesterday) Mississippi.

It's indeed the Virgin Islands.
I could have sworn she'd exceed 90% in D.C.

Anyway! Hillary's best states are:

U.S. Virgin Islands (86.74%)
Mississippi (82.47%)
District of Columbia (78.68%)
Alabama (77.84%)
South Carolina (73.44%)
Georgia (71.30%)
Louisiana (71.12%)
American Samoa (68.35%)
Arkansas (66.29%)
Tennessee (66.07%)
