Moderate Democrats?

Exactly.  One conspiracy theory on DU is that the DLC will try to run him out.  That's a crazy notion, but it shows the mind set in the party.

And see who loves him: Republicans.  I was glad when they selected Dean over a Tim Roemer or another moderate.

I'm pretty sure many Republicans were gleeful when Dean took the helm of the DNC  - and I can't really blame them! As for winning over moderate Republicans, he's more than likely alienating moderate Democrats

It's so goddamned hard to stick to that Wait-and-see-how-he-does-before-judging policy isn't it?  I agree with all of the above.

I, dearly, want to give Dean the benefit of my doubt, but he (and he alone), is making it impossible to even do so

He's really helping us out. If only he would run and win the DNC nomination for 2008.

Actually, in 1968 the Republicans had a major effort to curtail vote fraud.
Yeah, tell us more about the fraud committed by Democrats in 1968

First, you REALLY need to learn to read.  You asked when either party had a major effort to combat vote fraud, and I answered you.  There is a nice article about the effort that was printed by Readers Digest about thirty five years ago.  The effort was aimed at Cook county, Illinois, under the leadership of Ray Bliss, at the request of Richard Nixon.
I don't need to learn how to read.  I'm just connecting the dots here, pal.  Almost all of your posts imply dastardly deeds by the Democrats while the Republicans are the avengers of truth, justice, and freedom.  Of all the Democrats I've met, you are the most partisan Republican.  So if you say that the Republicans tried to combat voter fraud in 1968, that effectively means that there must have been some voter fraud to warrant it.  Was George Wallace trying to pull fraud over Nixon, who was, by 1968 (for political reasons), a segregationist?  I think not.  Now, if Nixon had just randomly decided to combat voter fraud without Humphrey and the Democrats doing something to warrant it, that would have been pretty darn wasteful of Nixon when he should have been getting back at Humphrey's last minute blitz of television commercials.  And if Nixon did an act as pitiful and pointless as that, why are you taking your time to celebrate it as an act of Republican action against voter fraud, while conveniently skipping over the 2000 election?

You really need to calm down.

First, if you bothered to read the article I cited, it gave considerable evidence of past vote fraud in Cook county.

Second, you need to look at my posts, only a miniscule percentage deal with vote fraud.

Third, I don't like vote fraud, irrespective of who does it.  Republicans used to engage in similiar vote fraud when they had corrupt political machines in Pennsylvania and East Tennesse.

Finally, the major form of vote fraud which exists in Florida, is New Yorkers who vote both in New York and Florida.  About nine months ago I posted information about this, and support implementation of a data base to prevent it.

The rest of your post is, well, bizarre.
