Would Kasich be BETTER as VP?

He says he won't accept it but everyone says that and does if they're tapped. It may actually be the case. He talks about his time in Washington, so he would be able to have good relations on his home turf and be Donald's more suitable mouthpiece. His big thing is a Balanced Budget Amendment, which he could also take a great role in advocating for as President of the Senate since Donald hasn't taken a stance on it. If Donald doesn't run in 2020, he would be the heir apparent easily.

Losing as a VP nominee is NOT political doom; FDR was the Democratic nominee for Vice- President  in a big losing campaign in 1920. Twelve years later he won the Presidency as decisively as anyone has ever done against an incumbent.

Of course that was an incredibly young FDR in 1920.

I would like Kasich to be President but I do NOT want him as VP, nor do I think that he could support Trump or Cruz, either in a campaign or in office.

No, not with Trump. Kaaich like Walker and Jeb support Amnesty. Trump doesn't. It would draw attention away from immigration to Domestic issues like Estate tax repeal, Obamacare and min wage that Trump and Kasich agree on

Kasich would never agree to be vetted before the convention, and there's no way the RNC would let the nominee pick someone who hasn't been vetted. Kasich won't be given the VP slot unless it gets to probably a 3rd ballot.
