 While the aliens from Mars invade Washington DC to destroy its inhabitants including most of the congressmen and senators President  Dale makes pacifistic speeches trying to convince them to make peace; he constantly refuses to use nuclear weapons. Finally the President himself and  his family are killed, and the Earth is saved by common people who discover that Martians' heads explode when they hear  Indian Love Call melody.
Who of the presidential candidates is more likely to act in the same way as President James Dale did? Who will not be able to face an alien (Russian, Chinese, ISIS, etc) attack? Which is highly probable, international situation taken into account. American voters seem to ignore this probability.

It's obviously a very important question. 

Sanders will offer the Martians free university tuition, and they will think that means a big buffet so they'll go for it.  Cruz, who has been pretty clear on his attitude toward aliens--especially the illegal variety, which surely Martians are--will deport them, and we'll hear no more of them.  Clinton is unscrupulous and will manage to buy them off, probably by promising lithium from mines from nations whose leaders already own her, Russia and China.  She will come out on top.

By process of elimination, that leaves Donald Trump, so that's how I voted.
