Some really strange candidate actually did well in the 1988 primaries...

Jesse Jackson came dangerously close to winning the Democratic primaries, and Pat Robertson...well, he won a few caucuses.

But imagine that, by some stroke of fate, Jackson and Robertson get the nominations of their respective parties...

Who do you vote for?  Who wins?  How many people commit suicide in the voting booth...

Third Party, but if forced to vote between Jackson vs Robertson, than its reluctantly Jackson.

If it really happened, it would be one time when there actually might be a third party landslide

Robertson/Robertson.  Jackson only wins the District of Columbia and nothing else

Robertson would not win Conn. or Vermont. Those were only GOP in 1988 because the GOP emphasized social issues less back then.

I'd vote Jackson or possibly Green Party if I was in an uncompetitive state.
