The fact that Kent is included as a semi-co-equal city to Seattle and Bellevue in this while Everett is not is deeply concerning.
Everett is the red headed stepchild of Washington cities, and it’s a crying shame. The people there will give you the shirt off their f#%king backs, because it’s just expected that you do that. They know what it’s like to have nothing and when they’re your real friends, they’ll show you that. It’s a very highly diverse community with pockets of Asians, Latinos, Africans, Black people, Eastern Europeans, Ethiopians, just everyone.

Lumping Everett in with Seattle without also including Tacoma is an affront to all three cities. I don't fault the OP for not adding Everett in the poll.

That being said, I don't think I actually know anyone from college who'd say they're from Everett, just people who moved there or commute there for work. I know people from Bothell and Lynnwood- maybe Edmonds and Mulkiteo too.

Only Seattle, the rest aren't big enough.

I literally just took the statistical areas from the US Census (Which goes off of the Management & Budget Office). Wasn't meant to be a slight at all

Nah dude, you’re all good. I was talking about treating only one of Everett and Tacoma as a satellite city/suburb of Seattle but not the other, e.g. “Seattle-Bellevue-Everett”. I feel like Tacoma and Everett are both too far out to be considered “suburbs” of Seattle the way Vancouver and Hillsboro are considered “suburbs” of Portland.
