Both were excellent senators, but I voted Bayh for partisan reasons.

Reluctantly Bayh. It's upsetting how he nearly left Democrats without a candidate in 2010 after dropping out at the last second, but that aside a Democratic majority is needed.

Boo hoo hoo a Senator decided to have his own life. Not everything is about the party.

What angers me about Bayh is not only did he basically hand the seat to Dan Coats (who I like less politically than Bayh), but he also did not give any of his massive campaign funds to other candidates. He did not give a penny to Brad Ellsworth. He did not give a penny to any of the IN U.S. House candidates. He did not give a penny to any of the democratic senate candidates I supported in other states, such as Sestak and Feingold. He instead kept the money for himself out of greed. That's just wrong.
