To approach the question seriously, my guess is that Hawaii has the highest (small at that) percentage of people who do not want to be part of the United States and thus "anti-American".  Seeing the United States soccer team get pelted with garbage in Los Angeles! while playing Mexico does make with question the loyalty of some.

Hawaii......if you leave the tourist areas you get jumped, beat up and robbed.  They dont like "mainlanders." And they voted for Kerry.

South Carolina. They voted for George Wallace, declared war on the rest of the country so they could own another person's life, and they love the NRA.
What's wrong with George Wallace or the NRA?

Massachusets. They voted for Mike Dukakis, love NARAL, and started one of only three wars on American soil just so they didn't have to pay taxes.

As for George Wallace:

"Segregation now, segregation tomorrow, and segregation forever."
"I'll never be outned again."

See? They're quintessentially American. Tongue
And IIRC there were hundreds of wars on US soil.

I voted Vermont, those crazy hippies. Tongue

Seriously though out of that list I would probably say South Carolina folowed by either Utah or Alaska. South Carolina did succeed from the Union and was part of a nation that attacked the United States. Thus, even though those events are more than 100 years in the past, makes it more openly anti-American in nature. Utah is probably second since they have also gone to war with the United States, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utah_War, had very real plans of establishing an independent state of the Deseret in the west between 1830 and 1860 and had their own independent Militia, the Nauvoo Legion. Third on that list would be Alaska. They are the only state in which a candidate of a party that actively supports independence from the Union was elected governor, Wally Hickel 1990-1994. They are the third largest party in Alaska and have over 25,000 members.
