Yep. Pretty much every possible candidate except Fmr. Gov. Bev Perdue would be better than Burr.

Him and Tillis probably make the worst Republican couple of any state (except maybe Oklahoma).

i voted for him in 2004 when i was still living in nc.

he is pretty horrible, but better than many southern republicans.

Oklahoma still takes the cake, but damn, North Carolina is closing in. Lankford's alterboy awfulness keeps Oklahoma as the worst, though.
