I'd vote Clinton/Warner and I think they could win. How likely is it that these two tickets would be nominated in 2008?

I'd hold my nose and vote Clinton/Warner (though I don't mind Warner).

Like I said in another thread, Frist's prospects for nomination grow slimmer every day.  He's a senator, SML (made it worse for Bob Dole IMO), and is retiring in 2006.

What a disgusting choice. Eh, I guess I'd vote for the cat-killer (and he would win). Almost anyone would be better than that bitch.

Big bill is the best thing that could happen to the Democratic party. He's the only one Hillary could beat IMO.

The cat-killer is not going to win the nomination.

He's next in line.  It's his to lose.

The cat-killer is not going to win the nomination.

If the Senate goes nuclear, he'll be a shoo-in.

Clinton, sadly. I'm not a big fan of the cat killer.

Um, no. He's Senate majority leader. That's not "next in line."

Ugh... Among the Republican establishment, Bill Frist is next in line.  Excluding the obvious, Dick Cheney.  With Republicans, the nomination always goes to whichever party leader's turn it is. That's why Nixon beat Rockefeller, Ford beat Reagan, Bush I beat Dole, Dole beat Buchanan, and Bush II beat McCain.  Since you disagree.  Who's next in line in your opinion?

It doesn't work as simply as that.  If I'm wrong, please try and show us where this Republican policy exists.  Otherwise, with Cheney not running and Frist being highly unlikely for the nomination, it really is an open race.

What nonsense. There is absolutely no consistent link between each of those people.

You're basically saying, "hey look, everyone who got the nomination beat somebody!"

I hope Frist goes down in the primary cause Clinton would win this matchup.
