Personally I spent my whole day watching football on Saturday and saw no football at all on Sunday. My interest in the NFL is as low as it's ever been, but college football still captures my imagination just like it always has.

I don't like or care about American Football much, but it seems like a no-brainer to follow the actual professional league if you do.

The entire culture of the state I live in is centered upon getting drunk before a handful of college football games every year. There's nothing inherently wrong with doing that per say, but when it's the only thing your society really has to offer, it's a problem. The NFL is far superior.

The league in which a) the players are fairly compensated, and b) where there isn't an entrenched royalty that can spend plenty, and a set of peons said royalty hires to visit for ritual beatings.  

(Normal.)

And, yes, this is even after the NFL revealing itself to be truly horrible about a number of things and my interest in it being lower than it's been in a long time.  The gap is that wide.
