I should really know this, but, aren't there still 5 slots for the assembly even if there are only 5 candidates?

That would be correct. If there are only five candidates going in to the election then I assume that they all get elected, provided that they're not usurped by write-ins.

That would be correct. If there are only five candidates going in to the election then I assume that they all get elected, provided that they're not usurped by write-ins.

Yeah, so, I don't see the point in an endorsement vote at this point, unless there is a specific candidate we really want to make sure gets elected.

If there are five declared candidates, the Assembly will only have three members so your endorsement vote does have an actual purpose:
