The new front-page font is horrible, while the one used for subpages is OK.

Also, if you click on the subpages like "US", you cannot navigate anymore - you have to click on the "home" or "sections" button to visit another section. In the old version you could easily navigate because the sections were always there on the left. This is now only the case when you access the articles.

Every website is moving towards "sleek" (read: boring and ugly) designs for no reason, like the godawful new A.V. Club layout. Soon every website will look exactly the same.
