3 Days. From inside sources, Archduke Lumine, who as soon as I resign will take up the duties of Governor of the Midwest, will make a run for Governor of the Midwest. The biggest question first is whether or not he faces brand name opposition, but in case he does, the question now will be how well he will do against said brand names. Testing Senator MaxQue, Former Senator Snowstalker, and currently the most senior Most Serene Rep. ilikeverin.

Forgot the option, but just don't vote if you aren't a Midwesterner, got it?

As for myself, Lumine in all three situations. He has been an active Archduke and will make an active Governor. Midwest numbers are growing and I am confident he will make himself someone who can continue this slow but steady growth in our region.

Lumine.

Honestly, I think his 3 potential concurrents are out.

The more the better, but if it gets to 15, I may close the poll early. So far, Lumine looks like a shoo-in even against brand name competition.

Archduke Lumine looks like a shoo-in for Governor

the Archduke LumineVonReuental, spotted in regular attire

Lumine's tenure as Archduke of the Midwest has generally been a success, in terms of handling legislation through votes, and many voters think he is ready for the next level of Midwest leadership. Lumine leads ilikeverin, a Most Serene Representative and general Midwest legend, and MaxQue, the At-Large Senator, 54-38. That's not a fantastically large lead, especially when its a race when not so many are being polled, but he is standing above 50%, which is a good place to be. He leads the Former Midwest Senator Snowstalker by even more, 69-23. As it turns out, Midwesterners would not be so excited to see a return from the Senator. If Lumine does win this race, he will be the first member of the newly put together Progressive Union to be elected to an executive office (Sjoyce was elected when it was the Light Party).

Archduke LumineVonReuental (P.U.-MT) - 54%
Most Serene Rep. ilikeverin (NMAM-MN) - 38%
Undecided - 8%

Archduke LumineVonReuental (P.U.-MT) - 54%
At-Large Senator MaxQue (Lab-CO) - 38%
Undecided - 8%

Archduke LumineVonReuental (P.U.-MT) - 69%
Former Midwest Senator Snowstalker (Lab-ND) - 23%
Undecided - 8%

I have to say that I'm quite pleased with the results of the poll, but somehow I still hope that we will get to see a competitive race, just for fun. That said, Governorship, here we go!
