Pretty self explanatory. Both parties are similar in membership levels and hold a few public offices.

For what went on in the Pacific, I'd say right now NM-AM. Although on the long term it's pretty tied.

NMAM obviously, but Light Party is also influential beyond its numbers. I think I'd call it the TPP effect.

No party will be like TPP. Neither one of these really compares, as both lack The Spirit.

NMAM.  The Light Party didn't manage to tear apart an entire region...

That's not what I'm talking about. TPP had smaller numbers than the other parties, but managed to win in large numbers. It may be a different thing for these two parties, but it's clear they have the same sort of effect. Maybe because, like TPP, a majority of party members are influential Atlasians already part of other, bigger parties.

Perhaps. Like Christ, The Party was born on a cold night in September when three wise men met to ordain it as all good and holy. From then on, The Party controlled this game.

Neither one of these parties represent that in any way. As The People's Champion, I had to point that out. Wink

Pretty much. I still don't see a tangible difference between the Light Party and the Liberals.

Before Operation Pacific Rim, the Light Party (being the novelty party and all), but after that, the NM-AM. Hopefully, the next elections in the Pacific will destroy their base of support.

See, what makes the National Movement different from all the normal political parties in the game is that we don't need electoral victory to be successful.

And that explains why I don't have any respect for said movement.

The Light Party almost won two Senate seats, the NM-AM couldn't win a court battle. Come on people.

That would be icing on the cake, direct action by NM-AM and state's unwillingness to meet its demands caused a recession in the game.
