Mike McCarthy, head coach of the Green Bay Packers said that crew was notorious in preseason for getting flag happy.  They lived up to their reputation.

Honestly, I'm not optimistic about getting the regular referees back anytime soon.

     The replacement referees sucked, but that non-call took the cake. The guy I was watching the game with had to leave the room after that happened.

My favorite (not really..it sucked) referee incident this weekend was near the end of the Pit/Den game when a Bronco was tackled near the goal line and as he was tackled he fumbled the ball into the endzone.  The refs called him down at the 1, no fumble.  Tomlin threw the Challenge Flag just a split second before the ball was snapped for a play that was stuffed at the line.  Everybody was pissed.  The refs got everything right on the original play and the review of it.  The Bronco's coach was still pissed, until he realized it was still first down and the Steelers lost a challenge and a Time Out.

Yes, the replacement refs suck, but I feel for the guys.
