Yes. Oklahoma goes Democratic in a 50-state landslide for Obama. BushOK should move somewhere where his highly unpredictable vote counts. Smiley

You give me a job and give me a place to live, I'll move. Smiley

The fatal flaw in that plan is that the reasoning behind that highly unpredictable vote will count. You want to gamble on Presidential elections, this is not the way to do it.

Yes, but to do this, it would have to be a catastrophe. Like leaving his job to sell snow plows in Miami, and his pay is only based off of commission. That, or for someone he met on the internet less than week later. If it doesnt include something like this, the move just wouldnt be justified.

Only if the jurisdiction has very "generous" laws concerning involuntary civil commitment.

His lifestyle and personality would not be compatible with anywhere outside Oklahoma.

He'd do fine (well, as well as he does in OK) in any small town far away from the big city. It could even be in a solidly Dem state. Culturally, he's a fine fit for Southern Illinois. Nothing against Bushie personally, but I'd rather he not get to be the deciding vote on who gets the codes for the nukes.

I've never been. What's so terrible about it? I'm not a Sunny Florida kind of person, but lots of folks are. Never get any snow if that's your phobia. From a map, looks like it has tons of waterfront, which is nice. I'm sure it has it's bad areas, but it's not known for being a crime ridden hole the way certain cities that shall remain nameless are.

Let's just say, I've heard it's got a large redneck population.

I'm sure that's true, but that's why people self-segregate. Look at my hometown. All of the follwing examples are primarily for white people, who are a minority in the county If you want to be bohemian and alternative, go to Midtown. Preppy and professional? Check out East Memphis and Germantown. The most generic suburban experience possible? Cordova has your name written all over it. Rednecks are split between DeSoto County and NE Shelby County. I presume Jacksonville has a similar dynamic. I'm guessing most cities do. Never really thought that much about it. Am I wrong?

I will tell you that my favorite state outside of Oklahoma happens to be a Democratic-leaning swing state, albeit a very small electoral vote count of only 5, New Mexico.  I would really like to live in Albuquerque.  I've been to that city several times, and I really enjoy the scenery.

It's a suburb without the city.
