Private business experience doesn't really qualify one to be President. Federal government isn't, or shouldn't be, a profit-making corporation.

And his real experience, as compared to all other candidates, even Buddy Roemer, is pathetic.

Whatever you're going to say about Sarah Palin or Michele Bachmann, they at least have some political experience.

I think it does... but you've got to be a big shot like Jeffery Immelt or, preferably self-made, yet fantastically wealthy, and from a middle-class background, like Warren Buffett or Bill Gates. Living humbly like the former would help.

Herman Cain is richer than most of us will ever be, but 20 million is piffle in the grand scheme of things. You'll need to be worth at least a billion to stake a claim on business alone. How many here have ever heard of Godfather's Pizza, anyways?

Okay it was a bit crude I admit, but really man:  Admit it, Herman Cain wouldn't be this big of a deal if he were some white dude who was a talk show host (like Rush Limbaugh) who was Republican.

Actually, I don't necessarily agree with that. Sure, Steve Forbes was a bigger deal as a businessman but that was his one claim to fame and he received considerable attention in 1996 and 2000.

But if you really believe this to be the case with Cain, would you also concede that the current President wouldn't have been half the phenomenon he is supposed to be because he's black?
