Before New Federalist says anything, no, you can't vote none of the above.

When would the election be taking place? Today? Johnson era? Regan era? That would really be the defining factor in who won, mainly because of the shifting role of the South and California.

If it was 1964, Johnson probably would win.  If it was today, Reagan probably would win (well, if he wasn't dead).

Hah, Reagan was far from a libertarian, and Johnson far from a socialist.  Today Reagon would win, which shows how little the average voter understands their own economic interest.

Personally I would go for Johnson just on the personal freedoms issues - abortion, sexual freedoms, etc.
