I'd like to see that maybe around 1968 or 1972? I'd vote for Thurmond because he evolved with the GOP. Byrd went in the opposite direction.

Byrd/Byrd. I think Wallace would hurt Thurmond more, and thus Byrd would win.

Omg those 3 running separately. Is Adalai Stevenson a running mate? Or what about Al Gore Sr.? He was against the Civil Rights bill.
