Average.  And for what it's worth, Taco Bell (or somebody) should be open Christmas Eve at least.

Good: My cousin's son Arlo is almost two and can talk and understand complex sentences. He's absolutely adorable, photos will come. His cousin, my other cousin's daughter, is one and a bit and crawling around now, with massive blue eyes and the cheekiest grin ever.

Bad: Uncle David, the most boring man on earth, was there this year; and it was the first year where I had to choose between one side of the family or the other for the whole day. Dad's side had two little babies and grandpa in hospital, so it won over Mum's side, which only had a recently deceased family member :S

Not the best christmas, but as I get older I don't get disappointed with the relativekly bad christmasses any more. 5 years ago, a bad christmas would put me in a sulk until New Year's.

No. Taco Bell is an institution that should transcend all religious and national holidays.

Christmas Day commenced in Caesars Palace, and details of the events between midnight and my bed were hazy at best.  I then had to call a staff meeting at midday today, which made me just about the second least popular person right now after the woman who faceplanted the Pope.  I'm now going back to bed for a little while, and then need to start helping the wife prepare the epic feast.

Miserable.  Yesterday I messaged my friend in Washington to wish her a Happy Giftmas, but I got no response.  Three out of four times that I message her, she doesn't respond.  I like to think there is some sort of reason - like maybe she didn't think to check her phone or wasn't in the room (she logs onto MSN through her cellphone most of the time), but even when she's logged onto her computer she can be unresponsive.  I am now starting to suspect what I have sporadically suspected over the past three years I have known her - that she doesn't really like me, and she's just f'ing with my emotions for her own entertainment.

I used to not really care too much.  We'd only talk a few times a month, more by my own choice than her's.  I don't care about friends, most of the time.  But this week I've been very needy - so I've been trying to message her.  When we talked about a month ago, she said she missed talking to me and actually missed me.  Every time I bring up my suspicion, she denies it, and we even had a falling out after I believed her (former) friend, who claimed that she did not really like me.  That falling out ended when she messaged me, to make up and everything.

But, sometimes her actions suggest that she thinks otherwise about me.  I don't know.  I have no way of knowing for sure if she likes me or not - she denies it whenever I bring it up, claiming she's too lazy to be f'ing me around for three years.  But even when she denies it, I still suspect that she doesn't really like me.
