No. And if Obama became a republican, I'd become a democrat.

No, he's a dyed-in-the-wool reactionary but I could endorse Obama if he was a Republican

It's just idiologically-driven cackhanded inepts, like George W Bush, where I object

In hindsight, there are Republicans I could have supported. Teddy R and Ike (but animosity towards the party that subjugated the South would have prevented that). I'd have endorsed Nixon in 1972 for certain because George McGovern was oh so not me. I thought there was a lot of good in Tricky Dicky

I will say Obama has went some way towards 'redeeming' (not sure that's the right word) Lincoln

But what happened in the early 1980s (severe recessions) - and what I perceived as callous indifference to those on the receiving end - effectively killed any chance of my aligning with the Republican Party or voting Conservative. I don't think Ronnie was quite as malevolent as Maggie though

Lots of things past and present have determined my politics but, right now, Labour is frustrating me terribly and I'm too incurably a working class snob to like Cameron

Well he'd be one of around 3% of them. Can't understand their loyalty to be honest. Perhaps they are holding out against the Stalinist Limbaughist purge and I say, good on them

There are days I imagine my being a moderate American Republican, I imagine I'd be having the time of my life since I'm nobody's bitch [and certainly not for that big fat pil' popping lard arse!]

PPP found that there was only 1% of them in the country. And all 7 of them that they polled approved of Obama!

IRRC, I came across that info at Gallup

And all 7 may well have voted for Obama. 9% of Republicans according to exits nationally supported Obama and I doubt very many were conservatives. Most of those 20% of conservatives who supported Obama were likely conservative Democrats (the party, remains, as always, a big tent)

Many Conservative Democrats are of a populist, rather than libertarian, hue in that skew a little to the left economically, along with being pretty culturally conservative. Freshmen Reps. Parker Griffith and Bobby Bright, along with Walt Minnick of Idaho, do seem conservative (more so Bright and Minnick and to a lesser extent Virginia's Glenn Nye). My advice to Griffith is be Bud Cramer and to the others be themselves

DailyKos recently hailed freshman Tom Perriello of Virginia, who edged out Virgil Goode, the "bravest" man in Congress for voting Aye on "Waxman-Markey"

As a troll, he seems to care more about the color of one's avatar than the content of one's policy so I'd say yes.

Coburn hates RINOs almost as much as "the blacks".  I would venture to guess Obama would have to get himself saved and join the Kenneth Blackwell-Alan Keyes club before our peculiar troll would embrace him.

As Coburn says, "There ARE some good ones, you know."
