No, children must grow up in a traditional God-fearing family value environment.

Unsure... tbh. I guess it depends on who did the adultery but it certainly doesn't bode well for any child's upbringing.

Are we talking serial cheaters here or one time in college?  Is the adoptee going to spend the rest of his/her days in a orphanage eating slop or will he/she be getting adopted by the next gay family to come in the door?

Yes, of course.....somebody that cheated on their husband after years of abuse and adultery, who then left that guy and has been in a happy (but childless) second marriage for a few years.  Sure, why not?  If you make a habit of it?  No.  That would be a fairly large character flaw.

A better question is if people should be allowed to adopt adulterous children.

What's the difference between a straight adulterer and a gay one, besides the fact that one's gay and the other one is straight?
I say let all adulterers have the right to adoption, I mean it's only harmful for the family if they're caught...amirite?

It's kind of tragic that anybody here is seriously discussing this.

Stability is an important factor in a child's home environment, so if you have one or both of the adoptive parents committing adultery it could factor into whether the couple should be allowed to adopt. However I do not think there should be a blanket ban on it.

This.  If the kid will be moving around all the time because their parents keep having affairs and breaking up and moving to escape scary circumstances or whatnot, it won't do them any good.  But if their parents keep breaking up because they're having affairs but for some reason the child keeps their same friends... it shouldn't be much of an issue for their development.

So how does one know someone is an adulterer.  Are they wearing a badge of some sort?  Roll Eyes
