Since BRTD is really big into emo and can't stand rap and I'm a hip hop head (especially 90's rap)  also a bit of house and trance stuff and can't stand emo, thought I would put our music styles up against each other

Real hip hop.  Not saying all of the stuff out now is garbage, I like quite a bit of it, but the 90's was the golden age of rap, especially the gritty New York sound

Tough one. My taste is pretty far removed from both of time. I don't really like rap but the rap that I do like seems to be some of the stuff Smash likes (Wu, early Nas, etc.) and I don't like most of BRTD's emo but there are a few bands that we both like (Nirvana, Pavement, etc.).

I abstain.
