I can't wait to vote against Rockefeller in every one of these polls.

Nixon by process of elimination. Goldwater opposed civil rights & Rockefeller was too cozy with Unions & Rockefellers.

Actually, that doesn't do it justice. It's fairly close between Nixon & Rockefeller, but Goldwater is one of my most hated Republicans of the 20th Century, second only to Warren Harding.

Barry Goldwater, easily. Nixon was a dishonest crook and me-too Republican and Rockefeller was a downright liberal.

I feel the need to point out that Goldwater was not against civil rights for blacks. He desegregated the Arizona National Guard, was a member and contributed to the Arizona chapter of the NAACP, worked to desegregate schools as a member of the Phoenix city council, supported the Civil Rights Acts of 1957 and 1960, and supported a constitutional amendment to ban the poll tax. He did vote against the Civil Rights Act of 1964, not because he didn't want civil rights for blacks, but because he feared it went too far and in doing so violated the Constitution, the rights of private businesses, and states' rights. This was not an easy decision for Goldwater and accounts say he wrestled with the moral implications of his vote.

During the 1960 primaries he was supported by Senator Everett Dirksen, who later became the Republican co-author of the 1964 civil rights bill (Dirksen supported Goldwater again in 1964).

lol all of these anti-union posts go to show that Republicans have something shoved up their ass that causes them to hate unions.(Seriously what is so bad about them?)

Governor Nelson Rockefeller of New York

For the sake of this 1960 Republican poll I would have cast my ballot for Governor Nelson Rockefeller of New York. However, considering that Rockefeller never seriously challenged Vice President Nixon for the Nomination in 1960, I would have voted for Nixon in the Primaries and in the General.
