Paul is the only republican who can win in the general election because of the war.

I would vote for Paul, but Clinton would win quite handily.

Paul cannot win election for most other reasons. Conclusion (if I am to believe you): no Republican can win (actually, not true, though Paul definitely can't win).

I'd vote for Ron Paul, but Hillary Clinton has the sort of name recognition that being married to a former president gives.  And don't underestimate the power of the almighty dollar in campaigns.  She beats Ron Paul in fundraising as well.  Maybe not for the right reasons, but she'd handily defeat Ron Paul.

Clinton would rape Paul (there's some...interesting imagery for you). I'd write in something stupid like Bejamin Netanyahu or Teemu Selanne or somethng.

As much as I'd love the Republicans to nominate Paul, if he is indeed their only chance , it ain't going to happen Sad

Clinton soundly defeats Paul. She's the realist in this race. Erect an Ivory Tower and let Paul rule that

Paul/Clinton. Sadly, advocating government restraint (or having principles) never got a candidate anywhere when running for high political office.

Not true, look at the success of Ronald Reagan in 1980 (though his record turned out to be quite different) and the GOP in 1994. Both campaigned on a "government is the problem" platform and won.
