PBS had a special about the Nazi movement in the U.S. in the 1930s.  They showed footage of Mussolini, and it was uncanny how much his gestures and expressions were like Trump's!  The same grand, arrogant pomposity.  It was like Trump was trying to copy him.  They even showed a speech where Mussolini says: "My fellow citizens, who are working to make America great."

I don’t think Trump has any aspirations to stay president for life.

Trump's attorney argued before the Supreme Court that the President can have rivals murdered and attempt coups and unless he's impeached and removed no prosecution is possible. Given that murdering Members of Congress inclined to impeach is possible under this logic, he has an attorney literally arguing for dictatorship here in front of the Supreme Court.

Have you ever heard of the “Night of the Long Knives?” 1934. By 1935, every left wing liberal…every Socialist…had either been put to death or had been sent to Dachau.

Trump didn't know that his paternal grandfather died in a pandemic, the Spanish Flu. While it was unknown who Hitler's paternal grandfather was. It might have been his mother's grandfather, making his father his mother's uncle.
