Spitzer didn't do anything wrong aside from be an adulterer which is slimy but not uncommon, and for the point that he's a hypocrite because of some of the prostitution rings he cracked down on there's a huge difference between the type of rather exploitative ones he targeted and high level high earning escorts he was paying. That's something I obviously don't think should be illegal so it bothers me about as much as if he was smoking weed, the fact that he was married is obviously not cool but I don't think that should be illegal either.

Cuomo on the other hand is just scum.

I used to be a fan of Cuomo before the bad stuff was revealed, especially the harrassment allegations were indefensible and that was when I fully abandoned him. It's really unfortunate he didn't turn into the 21st century version of his father.

That's correct. Stone despised Spitzer and took great joy in giddily retelling the story during that Get Me Roger Stone documentary. I believe he may have even been the progenitor of the "black socks" rumor, or he at least amplified it.

My two adult daughters disagree on the governor's fate. They say he should resign. I say let's wait for the investigation's report. Cuomo's daily press conferences in 2020 brought sanity to our lives. it was like having a therapy session. He calmed us and for that I am grateful. As the daughter of an Italian American father, I believe Cuomo's actions, from what has been reported, is not only a cultural divide, but generational.  Sorry, but I'll await the report and the context from which his actions and comments were taken.
