Trump VP speculation is just stories floated by Trump or his supporters to get "Trump is a real serious candidate" coverage out there as an alternative to "Trump is a bankrupt crook with cognitive issues" coverage.

An R is always an R he still supports tax cuts for the rich. It doesn't put any state in play aside from the states already in play

Each 2-3 days, there's a new list or name. The Trump VP speculation gets tiresome. Besides the fact Trump would have to change his registration again, Rubio adds practicaly nothing to the ticket. I doubt he's really considered, and I doubt Trump even cares about him.

Trump picking an establishment-coded senator as VP is an underrated possibility (i.e., it's way more likely than him picking someone like Kari Lake), but I don't think the best option in that lane is Rubio.  More likely to be Tim Scott.

Trump probably switches his residency to one of his other properties.

He definitely wouldn't want to in New York for plenty of reasons. He could do Bedminster in New Jersey but New Jersey would cooperate with NY on any property seizure or extradition.

It's not. Even if they both stayed officially Florida residents, it just means he has to win by 15 electoral votes.
