DeSantis is being humilated in the primary and is on the verge of falling to 3rd place now. McCarthy has become the first person to be vacated out of their speakership.

DeSantis for sure. McCarthy embarassed himself in 2023 for sure, but he did so while navigating complex political situations. The errors DeSantis has made in 2023 were mostly unforced and easily avoidable.

I can explain it it's called Regulation v Deregulation the reason why Trump will ultimately lose, because DeSantis regulates Disney and IAN with extra money from the high property taxes he collects from FL and CA, HI and NY are the highest property states along with 6.09 gas prices. Then, he wants to deregulate with tax cuts for the rich he voted for in 2017 Trump tax cuts and cut entitlement spending. Deficits are caused by past spending 9 T on Wars on Terror

He is parroting Trump, but Obama lost his Sandy enthusiasm in 2014 when we win a  landslide in 2014 but it was no Pandemic, tax cuts were popular until 20

How do you think he is getting all that money to repair Disney and IAN roadways from high property taxes and on the Golden girls Miami has high property taxes

Rs are against tax increases but Obama and Clinton cut Capital gains and raised inheritance wealth tax, inheritance taxes doesn't have anything to do with jobs

In Fall 24 Biden will make this distinction, polls are so silly, Biden hasn't fully critiqued Trump silly tax cuts yet he will just like he beat Trump in debates in 20

AZ Iced Tea still thinks Trump is gonna win we won 5 straight special in PA and won WI by 11 guess what in 2016 we lost all the specials and Rs had dominate control of WI, PA and MI state and Fed Legislature, AZ 8ced tea always say Trump is gonna win and we just win another special in PA, this is before Biden even runs ruthless attack ads on Trump which he will there is too much income inequality for rich people taxes to stay the same

McCarthy was always going to fail because that's the nature of his job, so there really isn't even much for him to be embarrassed about. DeSantis completely threw away all of his momentum for no logical reason and somehow managed to become a total nonentity. The average mentally ill Atlas poster could've handled his campaign better than he did.

yeah, what Dale just said.  McCarthy's job was impossible to win.  DeSantis didn't have an easy road either (the Republican voter's boner for Trump makes it very challenging for non-Trump candidates. You have three options, have your own boner for Trump, sh**t on him every change you get, or ignore him.  All of those options suck for one reason or another.), but there was a window there.  He could have been successful, or at least not a complete train wreck, but he made the clearly wrong choice every chance he got.  It's his own fault.  He tried to be Trumpish, but just doesn't have whatever "it" is that Trump has (if you know what "it" is, let somebody know).

DeSantis for sure. Consider that this time last year, many people, myself included, thought he could beat Trump in the primary. Now he'll be lucky to get second. It's stunning just how rapidly his presidential campaign imploded.

The maps as I keep saying are blank on Eday, we color the maps, there are no Approvals on Eday, the Final poll is Nov 24 Trump isn't ahead of Biden, I just traveled thru TX Arabs, Latinos and Haitians and Border security was nice we arent in a severe migrant surge we just need immigration reform. We were in Omnicron varient but that's over., that's the only special they really win VA 21 during the surge we win everything since, and Newsom win the recall.

This is not the TX that Bush W won by 15 in 2004 neither is OH Biden will win them, waves happen in Oct 24 not now

Rs are lying about the migrant surge so they don't have to pass immigration reform, Johnson said the R strategy is to block immigration reform so Ds can't stay empowered, that will destroy their gerrymandering of TX and FL

What happened to McCarthy is a symptom of the GOP at-large.

What happened to DeSantis is his own fault.

Everyone's forgotten McCarthy's Benghazi comments from 2015 and how he managed to screw himself out of the Speakership. He was always going to fail, and everyone on the left and right knew it. Meanwhile, conservatives were falling down on their knees praising DeSantis as the next coming.

McCarthy had more to lose and DeSantis had more to prove.

Tough choice, but I'll go with McCarthy entirely because he usnow a historical first and will forever appear humiliated in history. At least DeSantis still gets to be Governor when he drops out.

Ron by far, Kevin’s downfall was obvious from day 1 with the deal he cut to become speaker while Ron had a legitimate chance at challenging Trump that he pissed away in an amazingly short timeframe
